HHS Stimulus PaymentsOn March 27, 2020, the President signed the CARES Act. The legislation included $50 billion for the Provider Relief Fund, allocated for general distribution to Medicare facilities and providers impacted by COVID-19, based on eligible providers' net patient revenue. The initial $30 billion was distributed between April 10 and April 17 and eligible providers should have received an HHS Stimulus payment, deposited directly into the bank account that they have on file with Medicare. The remaining $20 billion became available for distribution on Friday, April 24th and all providers who have already received a stimulus check are eligible to apply for an additional payment through the CARES Provider Relief Fund Payment Portal A detailed guide explaining what providers will need to do to apply for this payment can be found at https://chameleoncloud.io/review/2977-5ea0af98f0fd0/prod. |
